01 · PROJECT OVERVIEW
Managing the Aruba network from deployment to operations.
The Infosys Noida STP-2 network infrastructure is built around HPE Aruba Networking technologies. I have been involved in managing the Aruba infrastructure from the beginning of the deployment and throughout its operational lifecycle.
The scope includes installation coordination, configuration, device management, routing, VLAN mapping, authentication, wireless infrastructure, BMS connectivity and software upgrades.
The Noida environment includes 25+ Layer 2 and Layer 3 devices managed with physical presence at the location, while the broader environment includes management of 500+ devices across locations.
02 · DEPLOYMENT & IMPLEMENTATION
From initial installation to a live Aruba environment.
Configuration & Upgrades
Managed Aruba device configuration, operational changes and infrastructure upgrades across the deployed environment.
Aggregation & Access Switching
Worked with Aruba aggregation and access switching infrastructure supporting the site's enterprise network connectivity.
Wireless Infrastructure
Managed Aruba wireless infrastructure including wireless controllers and access points as part of the overall Aruba environment.
Aruba Authentication
Managed Aruba authentication requirements supporting secure network access and device connectivity.
Aruba Central
Managed and monitored Aruba infrastructure through Aruba Central alongside CLI-based administration.
03 · NETWORK OPERATIONS
Routing, VLANs and network mapping.
Day-to-day network operations include working with Aruba Layer 2 and Layer 3 infrastructure, routing and VLAN requirements across the Noida environment.
Activities include VLAN mapping, VLAN tagging, routing configuration and maintaining the required connectivity relationships between network infrastructure and connected systems.
Network administration is performed through Aruba Central and CLI-based access, with privileged access workflows supported through CyberArk.
04 · BMS INTEGRATION
Network connectivity for building management systems.
COORDINATION
BMS Team Coordination
Coordinated with the BMS team for network-related requirements, connectivity and implementation dependencies.
NETWORK MAPPING
VLAN & Connectivity Mapping
Worked with VLAN mapping, tagging and network connectivity requirements associated with BMS infrastructure.
BMS GATEWAY
BMS Gateway Connectivity
Supported network connectivity requirements involving the BMS gateway and the Aruba network infrastructure.
05 · MANAGEMENT & SECURITY
Centralized management with secure administrative access.
Aruba infrastructure is managed using Aruba Central and direct CLI administration depending on the operational requirement.
Privileged device access is handled through CyberArk, providing a controlled workflow for administrative access to network infrastructure.
The environment also involves working with the HPE Aruba Networking GreenLake portal for management of the broader Aruba ecosystem.
06 · AOS-CX UPGRADE
Keeping the Aruba infrastructure up to date.
The Aruba infrastructure was previously operating on AOS-CX version 10.13.1010. As part of the infrastructure lifecycle and upgrade activities, the environment was upgraded to AOS-CX version 10.16.100.
The upgrade activity formed part of the ongoing management and maintenance of the Aruba network infrastructure.

Managing the infrastructure through its operational lifecycle.
My involvement covers the Aruba infrastructure from the beginning of the deployment through ongoing operations, configuration and upgrades.
This includes coordination with the dedicated Aruba installation resource, device configuration, Aruba Central and CLI administration, routing and VLAN activities, wireless infrastructure, authentication and BMS coordination.
The role combines technical network administration with physical presence, operational coordination and troubleshooting within the Noida environment.
